September camping trip

As most everyone knows we are homeschooling this year. (It's been a fun adventure already these first few weeks and I'm sure you are going to hear about it a lot throughout the year) So Josh and I decided that we wanted to take full advantage of not being tied down to someone else's schedule and go on a family camping trip just a few weeks after school started. Boy did we have a easy time finding a camping spot!!!!

Although the trip was a learning experience for us, and we all know camping/traveling with a toddler who still sleeps in a crib can be challenging, it was fun to spend a week seeing some beautiful country, and this was technically the first time we went camping just our family. I tried to get pictures, but I was busy chasing a toddler so picture taking was left up to Josh and Alexander for the most part. It's okay though, I think we got enough to keep the memory of the trip.

Co-op

As part of our homeschool adventure we joined a co-op (group of homeschoolers) who meet once a week on Monday's. Each day starts with a group time then Alexander is a part of three different classes, one of which I co-teach with another mom. Asher has a fun room he spends the day in, in which I join him the last class of the day. It's a bit out of my comfort zone but I'm gonna stick with it for a while since I think it's a good thing for the boys (and me) to meet other people outside our regular circle of friends.
