I can't believe that I almost forgot to post his six month picture. I could not get him to sit up straight. He was so excited and wiggly that he kept sinking down,. but he is so stinking cute that I really don't care. Christmas was a wonderful time. Alexander played with a lot of paper. I really look forward to next year when he understands the concept of presents a little better. I hope everyone had as joyous a Christmas as we did.

The beginning of Christmas
What a start to Christmas this year. It has been one heck of a couple weeks. With Noah and Diana visiting a couple weeks ago, backed by a visit from my mom, Kenny and Kiley, and all three of us getting a cold, this month has really had a lot going on. Our pour baby boy has had it the worst. We took him to the ER on Thursday night due to a cough that was causing him to vomit. It turned out to be croup, which is a word I hope to never hear again. He is close to being fully recovered now, but it just breaks your heart to see him sick like that. He was such a trouper though. It never seemed to upset him when he had a coughing attack. In fact, most the time he would start talking to me right after. Being a mom is so much different than I ever expected. It really almost physically hurt me to see him like that, but now he is better so I need to just move on and thank God that this was not a worse situation.

Family Visit
We had a very fun weekend. Josh's younger brother Noah and his family made a stop by our house on their way to California. It was so much fun for Alexander to meet his cousins. They were very patient with him and he just loved hanging out and playing with them. We hope to see them again before they fly back to Japan where Noah is stationed in the Airforce. "Thanks guys for making the effort to visit us. It meant a lot to both Josh and me. We love you all so much!!!"
