5 months
We are having so much fun with Alexander these days. He is five months today and he is turning out to be a silly little boy. When he finds something funny he smiles and wrinkles his nose. It is really cute. I have not caught it on camera, but I am trying. He really loves the baby food I am making him. I have only given him carrots, but he eats three cubs of it. I am thinking next week pears. I am not worried that he won't eat them because he seems to like any food I put in his mouth. I pray that his task for food does not change as he gets older, but I know that is not always how it works. I am going to try to post some short videos for you to see (mainly for those who never get to see him) I want you to be able to share in his wonderfulness.

Rolling Over
At 4 months and 3 weeks Alexander rolled from his back to his tummy. He has been trying for weeks, but today he finally did it. I am so excited. Next up crawling!!!!

New stuff
So we got a new camera. Our other one died on us, so we got our early Christmas present for each other. Josh took this picture on Saturday. He asked me to post it because he thought it was funny. With my hair all messy, holding the baby and cleaning. I don't like posting bad pictures of myself, but Josh said that is the point of this one, I'm now a "house wife" so I can't always look good.
Alexander is doing so well with sleeping at night now. PRAISE GOD. Last night he did not wake up until 5:10 am. I fed him at 5:30 (I was hoping he would go back to sleep like normal, but he didn't) Well it is now 7:30 am and he is still sleeping. The past week he has been getting up at 6:45 am so this is a record for him. Why he could not do this on Saturday when I did not have to get up and work, I don't know, but I am happy that I got 7 straight hours of sleep last night. That is the best since he was born.
So I hope to have more pictures now that we have a working camera.

Pacifiers Good or Bad?
I have decided they are evil!! Okay so not that bad, but I don't like them. Sunday we officially started the process of getting Alexander to start sleeping without his pacifier. He has been waking up any number of times from 3-6 a night. Most times just wanting his pacifier. I could not take it anymore. I thought that we would have a terrible week. This was not the case. I will not bore you with all the details, but last night was awesome. He woke up twice, but only for a short minute. I did not have to get out of bed!!!!!!!! I usually feed him once in the night some time after 2 am. Well he slept from 1:45-6:30am. This has never been done before. So I am now convinced that pacifiers are evil. If we have another child I will never let him/her know what one is!!!
