A summer bike ride

I have been trying to find ways to get the boys out door so tonight I floated the idea of a bike ride around the neighborhood. I was really excited when I got Alexander to do a small run on his bike as it has been really hard to get him to ever want to ride his bike. After our loop with him riding alone he decided to jump in the bike trailer with Asher. This time we took a longer loop and road around a couple times. I guess it's time to work on getting my legs in shape to match my arms from carrying around Asher for the last seven and a half months. Man I am pooped!

Football practice

This summer Alexander has finally shown interest in sports. Since I don't want to over do it I told him he could try two, he picked basketball camp and flag football.

I actually had a hard time at the first practice. He is getting so big and I am just going to have get ready to let go a little bit. I wasn't able to get close enough to get pictures of his face, but you could see his smile as he ran drills. I am definitely going to have to take my God camera to the first game.

Family Fun Day

It's not too often during the summer that I have a weekend off from weddings. Since this was my first one and one of a few I have we decided to do something with the boys that we had never done. So after Asher's morning nap we packed up the boys and headed to Bullwinkles.

Asher did great watching all the fun, he even napped a little while we played some games. Although Josh and I both agreed that we are excited for the day when we can each can take a boy with us on a ride instead of having to sit out and watch.

Time with friends

Today we went up to my friend Brenda's house to induce their new preemie baby Bradyn to Alexander, Asher, and Mary. It was really fun to see the difference in size between a 3 week preemie and a 7th month old.

Brenda and I are super eexcited for our boys to grow up together!

Changing focus

With life being as busy as it is I have decided to change focus from Facebook to blogger. This, for me, is a better way to share our life with just the people we really love. So without further ado, Asher using the potty! He started at 6 months old just like his big brother. He picked it up really quick and uses it everyday.
